Hey man, what happened to the teespring store? Need to buy more logo shirts so that I never need to wear other shirts again!

I stopped using Teespring because I was getting really unhappy with their service. I put up those replica tank tops of the guy’s shirt in the grill video, and even after having them listed for 3 months, they never once had any Mediums, Larges, or Extra-Larges available. They were also starting to take 3 weeks or more to clear payouts, whereas it used to be a couple days. So I decided “fuck it.”

There will surely be more TMH shirts in the future, but they will not be through Teespring!

So all of the content in The Mighty Lighthouse is user submitted? How do I find out who any of the artists are?

There is a page or two of credits on the last or back page of every issue of TML – but there is NOT a main directory for all the artists who have submitted over the years… that’s a good idea! We’ll add one of those to this site.

What happened to your content on Spotify?

They took all my shit down, that’s what happened! I got that email in September 2022. They didn’t specify what section had been violated, though I can safely assume it has something to do all the copyrighted music I use for TMH. Anyway, I wasn’t getting any revenue from the podcasts page, so I don’t see what their problem is, or why it was taken down now instead of say, 5 years ago. Also, there is no appeals process that I have been able to find. Ya gotta love it!

If you were on death row, what would be your last meal?

My plan would be to order something I’m allergic to cause it might buy me some time. You can’t kill a man having an allergic reaction, that’s inhumane! Unfortunately, I don’t have any food allergies because I am a perfect genetic specimen, which should excuse me from death row entirely.

What’s the longest your fingernails have EVER been and WHY?!?!

Maybe like, 4mm. Wait, do you measure just the white tip or the whole nail? This requires too precise a measurement! Let’s just say “far too long” and the reason was certainly neglect due to my never leaving the house.

How did you get to be so good at voice acting? Was much of it from any sort of structured training or classes? Or is it more something that you achieved naturally on your own?

Hey thanks for saying I’m good! I did musical theater in high school, I guess that was “training” in the sense that there was an instructor. Mainly I have been doing acting for little comedy videos and audios since I was a pre-teen, so I’m very used to it. That’s a decent part of it, being comfortable.

Have you considered doing any type of traveling for TMH? Examples include: touring, standup, song performances, meet and greets, etc.

YES! I have wanted to do a “couch tour” for awhile now – where I would drive to people’s houses and do a show in their living room. It will happen at some point… just gotta put together a live show first, I guess.

How many blankets could you fill when you wank it?

Just one. Call me old fashioned, but I am a One Jism Blanket sort of man.

Question submitted by: Turnip

Do you ever plan on doing bit requests again?

YES! I will try to set aside some time maybe once a year to do audience audio commissions. Last year I did 75 bits for ~55 people, which took way too long! Next time I’ll probably do way fewer.

Question submitted by: Blake Naulty

What equipment do you use for recording? What kind of treatment did you do to the room you record in?

Currently I record with an Aston Origin mic attached to a RODE studio arm, plugged into a Scarlett 2i2 audio interface. I edit in Audacity. I have 6 of these cheapo foam pads on the wall directly behind the mic, to help reduce echo. No idea if it really does anything, but it looks pretty sweet.

Are you continuing to look into selling soup as merchandise? I trust you to feed my family.

YES! I need to try canning some of my soups to see if that works (and it should) – then I gotta find out how much it would cost to ship them. Expect soups to be sold through this site by the end of the year. –tmh
